Some new Kate accomplishments -
- Loves walking. Crawling is pretty much over, except when it's getting toward bedtime and she's playing in the living room with us.
- Loves being tickled. Will lay down on the carpet at night and look for Chris or me to tickle her.
- Has now gone to bed for three nights in a row without the pacifier.
- Will do sign language in new environments. For example, we were listening to "Lady and the Tramp" for the first time in the car today, and dogs bark during the song. She signed "dog" by patting her leg. And when we went to 5 spot for dinner the other night, she saw a fish on the wall. It wasn't obviously a fish, and we were impressed she recognized it as one.
- And on the downside, she has some major toy jealousy going on. She's had two play dates in the last week and is seriously jealous when another child plays with her toys. Lots of crying or following behind them with some screeching noises. But, we think this is a phase. Today, she was at that child's house, and he acted the same way on his "home" territory.
- Kate had her third haircut this weekend. It went pretty well.
- She is finally eating something new - hummus and pita. She is happy to eat hummus if she can dip the pita in it.
