Chris dropped off Kate at daycare today and while he was putting her food away, she made a beeline (yes, she's been crawling for a couple of weeks now) to her "boyfriends" at daycare Will and Aiden, who were playing in the ball pit. And she stood up. Pulled herself up for the first time that we've witnessed. And while she couldn't pull herself up on the couch tonight, she did stand there happily with no support from mom for quite a while.
This past Sunday, Kate took her first boat ride, not that she really noticed. We all took the ferry to Bainbridge, and she was asleep in the Ergo for most of the meal while Chris and I had a delicious breakfast. Visitors, you should ask us to take you to the Streamliner Diner. Delicious.
Today at daycare:
Saturday at Pike Place Market: Kate is so big now I'm now using the Ergo with a side carry. It's a great baby item - a stroller at the market is a bad, bad idea. And she likes to be able to look around in the carrier, too. I think she's less bored than when she's in the stroller.
And because we just emptied Chris' iPhone of photos, you have to see this one - that I don't even remember him taking - just because babies in diapers are cute.
Sleeping during a spring walk we all took down on the waterfront probably two weekends ago -
